Picnic In The Park – Chaparral Lacrosse

The Chaparral Boys Lacrosse Booster Club would like to invite you and your families to an End of Summer / Start of Fall Lacrosse picnic in the park. We would like to use this as an informal time to mingle with old friends, get to know new friends and to face-off the start of what we expect to be another exciting and fun year of Chaparral Boys Lacrosse. We would like to encourage players and families of all levels to chaperon regardless if your player will be playing lacrosse in the Fall, Winter, or Spring. We want to enter on friendships and teambuilding for our upcoming 2011 Spring season. This will be a great opportunity to meet other families, both old and new to Chaparral Lacrosse, and to ask questions of the coaches, other players and families to gain a cured understanding of what will be expected of both players and parents as we move into the new school year and the 2010-11 Boys Lacrosse season.

This “Season Opener Picnic” will be held after practice on Thursday Sept 9th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the small Stonegate Park located on Stonegate Parkway directly across the street from the Chaparral turf field next to Mammoth Heights Elementary. In the case of bad weather we have arranged to use the large hallway outside of the 500 classrooms at Chaparral. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers Chips and Drinks will be provided by the Booster Club. RSVP to chaparrall@yahoo.com and indicate you are responding to the Season Opener Picnic so we can be sure to reconcile everyone (you can also RSVP here for our upcoming Texas Hold Em’ tournament on Sept 18th). We are always accepting of volunteers to help out with normal things like cooking, and making sure things get served and cleaned up, so don’t be shy. Please indicate on your RSVP if you are willing to help out and we will be sure you are included in one way or another.

Pass the word to anyone who is already involved, somewhat interested, or just curious about the Chaparral Boys Lacrosse program.  Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy an evening in the park with the Chaparral Lacrosse family.
