Beim diesjährigen Lichterfest können sich alle Besucher wieder auf ein Fest der Superlative freuen. Mehr als 4 Tonnen Material wird eingesetzt um eines der schönsten Klangfeuerwerke zu produzieren. Sicherheit ist dabei großgeschrieben. Neben dem Highlight – dem Feuerwerk - das jedes Jahr wieder die Massen begeistert, hat die Kulturabteilung der Stadtgemeinde Gmunden erneut ein abwechslungsreiches Programm zusammengestellt.

Auf insgesamt 4 Bühnen wird dieses Jahr Stimmung gemacht. Ab 18:00 Uhr kümmert sich die Bezirksrundschau um ein Rahmenprogramm auf der LT1 Bühne am Rathausplatz und wird ab 20:00 Uhr abgelöst von der Gruppe „SMASH“, die auch schon in den letzten Jahren für eine wahrlich explosive Stimmung gesorgt haben. Parallel dazu ist ab 16:00 Uhr vor dem Hotel Austria für Kinderprogramm gesorgt. Hüpfburg, Kreativ- und Malstationen und das Kinderschminken der Bezirksrundschau werden auch dieses Jahr für leuchtende Kinderaugen
