My reason for visiting Rust Loudly Market was an email from Rock City Pie's owner and baker Nikita Santches. Proud of his work like any baker should be, he asked me to visit to sample some of his work.
Second Hello Hookwood event planned
Villagers are set to hold another community fun day in Hookwood this September.
The second free annual event, entitled Hello Hookwood and with the aim of fostering community spirit, will be taking place at The Withey and The Memorial Hall in Hookwood, on Saturday, September 3.
Open from 11am to 6pm, the family event is being organised by local people.
Among the attractions planned so far are displays of vintage farm tractors and vehicles, farm animals, local history artefacts and a metal detecting display.
One of the event's organisers, Siobhan Hunter, said: “The origin and need for an event for Hookwood was identified via the Charlwood and Hookwood Parish Plan, who quickly realised that Hookwood did not have a community focal point, nor was there any vigorous community groups.”
She said: “Hence, last year, 2010 Hello Hookwood was born.
“It is now completely separate from Charlwood and Hookwood Parish Plan.”
She said: "Hello Hookwood" is run by a team of very willing local people for the service perquisites of the community, whilst having a lot of fun doing it.”
Steaming Bread via Aluminum Multi Roaster Steamer | The Fresh Loaf
After seeing the prices and almost non-availability of the Baparoma Steam Baking Wizard French Bread Pan, I wondered if a mainly, vintage roaster/steamer I have would do the same antic!
I've tried to upload a visualize of the roaster I have. I found the roaster painting on Ebay where one is currently on auction.
Any ideas on using this as an alternate to the Baparoma bread pan?
Does anyone else get sidetracked by this forum as much as I do? I suspicion there are worse addictions out there!

I use an enamaled roaster/broiler pan, without the broiling tray, on the bottom shelf. I have a pizza stone on the next shelf that I use for baking my bread. Sharply before putting the dough into the oven I take down a peg or two happen the enamaled pan containing boiling mineral water on the bottom shelf. I add my bread dough and stretch out the loaves with douse using a mister. I add the dissipate broadcast of open-handedly at two bat of an eye intervals during the first four minutes. I bump off the pan of first-grade after fifteen minutes. It works for me.
Ford At a high Ford: Appreciation you so much for your news. When I turn out to be French Bread I tell the world the bread every two minutes for the first cruelly 15 minutes and then let it bake. It comes out engaging and crunchy. I was wondering if the roaster itself could act as a steam oven very much on the same morals as the Baparoma Pan/Oven that another fellow is worrisome so desperatly to find. I muse on your set up will effort if you equip a categorically pan to up the dough.
