Why has my Whirlpool microwave oven suddenly lost power?

Our residence is 7.5 years old and has been sitting a little over a year due to a foreclosure from above-mentioned owners. We have been living in it for approx 2 weeks. Today, out of the downcast, I walk in the kitchen and look at the time and noticed

Almost always a dead microwave is caused by a blown fuse inside the microwave.

Does anyone have instruction manual for a Whirlpool VT255 microwave oven?
