Is is bad to drink from a copper tea kettle that has turned green inside?
I bought a penurious tea kettle, made in China, and they recommended to always dump out the water at the end of using it. Of advance, it's not my habit to always do that. I don't remember us doing that with Revere Ware, for exemplar.
Now
Mine's all fresh as well. I never considered it a hazard. I'll watch your question, but I can't imagine it would be harmful. Like you said, it's just oxidized copper.
Cleaning grease off a copper tea kettle?

The Strathfield resident, who lost her mother and two aunties to cancer, is Australia’s longest running Morning Tea host.
“It was my mother that suggested to do it 19 years ago when the Cancer Council first started it,” Mrs Giunta said.
“She’s my motivation, she’s why I do it.”
Last year the mother of two raised $35,087, the second highest total in Australia - only the supermarket chain Franklins finished above her by a few hundred dollars.

What's black and white and rose all over?
And then the singing stopped. The backyard was silent except for the rustling leaves. I fussed with my new crop of tiny spring plants for while -- listening. Then came a lull in the breeze and a scarce quiet.
One-by-one, my resident singers checked in. The Carolina Wren was first, demanding his teakettle-teakettle-teakettle! And the Mockingbird that seems to be trying to hatch mulberries through sheer will told us about his frustrations in quadruplet. My two resident male Eastern Towhees sounded off, each in his own corner of the yard, and a hidden Northern Cardinal started its cascading song. And finally, two more mimic thrushes a Brown Thrasher and a Gray Catbird took turns at showing off their virtuosity.
Still I listened. And just as I turned to go back inside the house, my mystery bird called again, still cloaked by the shivering mulberry leaves. I knew that I should know that song! It was so familiar! “Cherlee-cherl-o.”
I spent one more long minute standing in the yard and listening to the bird that simply would not show itself. But I couldn’t stand there all day. I had things to do.
