Introductie Nespresso Lattissima+
Zoals ik dinsdag al heb gemeld ben ik bij de introductie van de allernieuwste Nespresso machine aanwezig geweest, de Lattissima+.
We zijn hiervoor ingevlogen naar de fabriek in Treviso (30 minuten van Venetië) en hebben hier zelf zelf kunnen zien hoe de Lattissima+ in elkaar werd gezet.
In deze fabriek werken meer dan 1.000 mensen en zij maken, behalve de Nespresso Lattissima+ en de Lattissima (het oude model), ook nog andere volautomatische koffiemachines. Momenteel zijn er al 500.000 Lattissima+ machines klaar en wij hebben kunnen zien hoe het hele koffieapparaat in Treviso in elkaar wordt gezet. Het duurt 45 minuten om de Nespresso Lattissima+ in elkaar te zetten en elke machine bestaat uit 180 losse onderdelen. Elke 2 tot 3 uur komt er een andere kleur van de pack en de Lattissima+ is er in 4 kleuren: Midnight Blue, Silky White, Ice Silver & Passion Red.
Wat ik erg bijzonder vond om te zien, was dat elke Lattissima+ getest wordt voordat deze in de doos gestopt wordt, dit wordt oa. gedaan dmv. nepcapsules. Hiermee wordt het koffiezetten perfect nagebootst en eventuele mankementen gelijk opgespoord. (Het verbaasde mij echt dat dit bij elke koffiemachine wordt gedaan, want ik had verwacht dat dit steekproefgewijs zou gebeuren.) Nadat de machine oké is bevonden wordt ie in de doos gedaan en is ie klaar voor verzending. (Toch vinden er ook steekproeven plaats, dit is een extra controle nadat de machine gebruiksklaar is gemaakt. Hierbij wordt oa. gecontroleerd of de juiste hoeveelheid melk wordt toegevoegd bij de cappuchino en latte machiato.)
