Two months after Jill Warren bought a new washing machine for her rental property, the Frigidaire began stalling midcycle and holding her renters' clothes hostage in the locked tub of soapy water.

That was less than two years ago. Today, after seven visits from repair companies, three times to fix previously installed parts, the coin-operated machine still regularly locks up.

Warren's convinced she bought a lemon. Frigidaire parent Electrolux wouldn't replace the washer but extended her warranty for parts and labor by one more year, which is nearly up. Warren's not sure what to do next.

The Desk hears regularly from folks with major appliance mishaps. In the past two weeks, there was the doctor with a year-old, malfunctioning hood for his high-end range and the woman with a 7-month-old chest freezer that's infested with mites. Three model homes debut at Silver Lake community

MILL CREEK -- MainVue Homes is kicking up the lifestyle flavor a couple of notches with the grand opening of Stonewater Creek , its neighborhood of contemporary two-level homes in the Silver Lake close.

The community's three walk-through models are the first for MainVue Homes in Snohomish County. On tap at six communities in south King County, the home designs feature the builder's signature outdoor rooms. The open-air space flows from the main level's great room to create an all-season outdoor spot for leisure or entertainment.

Depending on the floor plan, the space connects to the dining, kitchen or great room via oversized glass doors.

Sales associate Kay Capanyola says Stonewater Creek has the perfect mix of fashionable home styles in an interesting setting.

The LED lights on the Right side compartment do not work any more. The light also went out. I have replaced the light bulb but still does not work. Could it be the Control Board?? Need some help for it is starting to get quite expensive to fix this fridge.
