What's the difference between the Kenmore Elite Dishwasher and the non-"Elite" Kenmore dishwashers?

I'm looking to position a dishwasher and Consumer Reports rated the Kenmore Elite quite hugely. When I went to Sears I couldn't really tell the dissension between the Elite models and the "regular" Kenmores. Are any of the dividend bells and

The "Elite" specialty of Kenmore products tend to have more solid state electronics, such as digital readouts and controls. Also, the Elite specialization is made in Ohio, while the standare models are made in Mexico.

Kenmore dishwasher error codes, flashing smart wash, normal wash and cancel/drain continuosly?

Kenmore dishwasher (dummy made by Whirlpool) flashes cancel/drain continuously, while alternating between flashing aware wash and regular wash buttons. Anyone know the spirit of this error code?
Already reset, unplugged for 10 minutes, turned back

Do you still have the proprietor manual to your dishwasher? Look in there and see what it says if not you could call the company and I am sure they will put you. An appliance repairman may be able to answer your questions over the phone too.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Fowler family knows they got lucky the night their dishwasher caught fire.

"We're very grateful we were here to witness it," says Doug Fowler.

If they weren't there, their home could have burned to the ground. The Fowlers later learned that the electronic control panel in their Whirlpool Kenmore dishwasher had overheated. Manner News has learned hundreds of other families across the country have had the same problem. They've even started a website, describing their stories which are all very similar.

"When I began to see so many people who had the issue, I was a little bit curious as to why something more hasn't been said or even some sort of compensation or some sort of repair cost covered," says Fowler.

Whirlpool spokesperson Kristine Vernier released this statement to Enterprise News: "Whirlpool Corporation builds its dishwashers with, among many other state-of-the-art safety features, components that turn off power to the electronic control board in the extremely unlikely event that the control board begins to overheat."

Troubleshooting Broiler element - Appliance Repair Forum

My broiler won't employment. I have garbled it and assume from 16 ohms so I fancy that the particular is accomplished. When I start the broiler the jurisdiction panel says that it is sending force to the medium. I connected a voltmeter from one pattern to lees and infer from 120 volts, but the other tip-off to settlings is 0 volts. Are there internal fuses or what else could be damage?

Kenmore 16072200 won't start - Appliance Repair Forum

I have a Sears/Kenmore dishwasher (model 587.16072200) that won't start. All the other buttons seem to work and their lights flash, but the unit won't start. I have reset the breaker and the Hi-Temp Scrub and the Air Dry lights blink afterwards, but nothing starts when I hit the Start button. Is there a reset code sequence that I can try or is there a part that needs to be replaced?
