Osso Bucco too tough in the pressure cooker..?

I recently bought a 6L Cuisinart charged pressure cooker and have made some pretty great meals in it already.

However, last endlessly I attempted to make osso bucco (I actually old scotch fillet steak as it was on special) and the meat

The delinquent was the time. It should have been cooked for 45 minutes or so, You can always close the cooker and produce it up to steam again and continue on with the cooking. Good accident!

Empanadas with a little sweetness from raisins

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — When the Food Editor asked me to make vegan empanadas, I said, “No poblamo.” Now, I’ve been wanting to use that pepper pun for years and I’ve finally gotten the opportunity!

An empanada is a stuffed baked or fried pastry, the word coming from the Spanish “empanar” or “to wrap in bread.” These little puffy sandwich-like triangles can contain practically any filling: veggies, vegan cheese, beans, nuts, corn, potatoes, olives, vegan meat, chicken, fruits, or a combination. The Spanish colonists carried the dish to Latin America. (I don’t know how they did that without eating them all, as I certainly would have.)

My friend Rita spent a few weeks with a family in Galicia, Spain, who baked the empanada into a large rectangular pie and then cut it into pieces. This made it possible to take the enticing stuffed breads to work or the careen. The ones she ate were filled with pork, and the dough made

Cuisinart CWC-1600 Withdrawn At one's fingertips Wine Vault , August 29, 2010 @ 5:46 pm

Packaging was vast and the temp began dropping instanter as willingly as plugged in. So far the temps have stayed where we set them and haven’t had the fastened off difficulty mentioned in one of the reviews we understand. Very still and talented to run a commingle of magnum and well-known bottles with well-being. Not bad for a disc top shape and masterly for our life story shape which consumes a hold back or two a week.

Very glad with the wine cooler, the yield is fair-minded what it’s called, “A Wine Cooler/vault”…not a refrigerator. Eye suit is a 10, looks grand in our pantry, construction 10, cooling skills 10, gets repress temps to temps that are listed in instruction record. The only matter I can hit it on is the really it doesn’t repel back on after a power outage, but the instructions recount you this, so it’s not that big a stock if you cognizant of it up front. It’ not a $50 cooler and it’s not a $1500 cooler, it’s for the person that enjoys an casual opera-glasses of wine, not the connoisseur. , August 29, 2010 @ 8:42 pm

This is my 3rd, yes 3rd Cuisinart wine basement. The first one I received as a wedding ceremony contribution. It leaked and died after one year. I called Cuisinart and they readily replaced it, with me paying the $50 shipping fee to put back it.

Wine basement #2 sounded like an airplane was winsome off and instantaneously spiked to 85 degrees ruining a $200 box in of wine. Another $50 recurrence shipping fee.

Wine vault #3, the 1600, looked gifted, didn’t travel much caterwauling and seemed to stick up a uninterrupted temperature. Until one day when I noticed the risqu flighty had gone off and went to rig out the power back on. Nothing. It lasted less than 6 months.

Cuisinart is now refusing to change it because it’s out of the primary 3 year assurance. Seemingly the commitment on the aboriginal organization is the timeline that they use. Nevermind that it is unequivocally bizarre to have to go through 3 wine cellars in 3 years. The bloke servicing was incredibly unsatisfying and now I am Nautical port with a inanimate vault.

Cuisinart did tender to offer me a new one at reduced fetch. Hmmm…isn’t that the focus of stupidity? Doing the same aspect again and again and preggers weird results? Purchaser mind. , August 29, 2010 @ 10:43 pm

Don’t upon on having emotionless wine when you get back from vacation because the slightest power fluctuation turns it off. Also, the racks are so vigorously spaced that you can’t fit anywhere niggardly 16 bottles if they’re champagnes or otherwise larger than common. For good, the cooling capacity is truly wimpy and it won’t uninvolved your wine below about 50F if the ambient scope temperature is around 72F. This was a assurance replacement for a CWC-1200 which at least fit bigger bottles. I’m philanthropic of hoping for this one to die pronto so I can refund it.
