Are there Starbucks/Coffee Bean drinks with no preservatives?

My doc told me not to eat anything with preservatives for three weeks. Is there any lap up I can have at Starbucks or Coffee Bean? I love coffee and chocolate and I don't think it will be easy for me to go without them for that long.

I over recall all of the drinks of Starbucks and Coffee Bean are all preservatives free. There are no preservatives in coffee. If you want, you can proper make a coffee drink in your coffee machine senseo

I'm applying for a job as a barista and this precisely occured to me. Should it be a collared shirt and tie thing or casual?

The Coffee Bean - By: HeyCameron

Starbucks Founder Returns To Billionaire Ranks

Starbucks (nasdaq: SBUX) founder Howard Schultz last appeared in our billionaire ranks in 2007 with a net worth of $1.1 billion, enough to be ranked no. 840. From then on, the coffee maker’s shares began a long downward spiral, losing about 80% of their value by late 2008.

The coffee maker is boiling again. The stock nearly doubled since last fall and recently hit an all-time high. For the first time in four years, Schultz, who gets the majority of his fortune from Starbucks, is once again a billionaire and stands a good chance of making our annual Forbes 400 list of Richest Americans .

Much of the credit goes to Schultz himself, who returned to the helm as chief executive in 2008 after an 8-year break (he’d been chairman), just as Starbucks posted its worst three-month performance in its history. He captured much of what was going wrong in his memorable “commoditization of the Starbucks experience” memo back in February 2007 that inevitably (and embarrassingly) leaked almost immediately onto the Internet via various Starbucks gossip websites. In it, Schultz cited reasons for “the watering down of the Starbucks experience” including the implementation of self-acting espresso machines, flavor locked coffee packaging, and the streamlining of the store design, all of which, according to Schultz, “removed much of the romance and theatre” of the true Starbucks experience.

Local coffee venture less than a grind for Marine musician

STILLWATER — For Geoff IkutaSchodde, opening River Moon Coffee Roasting Co. in downtown Stillwater was very much an extension of a life philosophy.

With the new business, the longtime professional musician, writer and father of three, 44, is combining a creative perspective with a global perspective — with a little bike riding thrown in on the side.

“We’re not coffee snobs,” the Marine on St. Croix resident noted of River Moon, which imports coffee beans from all over the world, roasts them on site and sells them both wholesale and retail.  “We just like good quality and good people and good times.”

In keeping with that philosophy the business will also contribute “nominal financial support” to local artists via the IkutaSchodde Family Foundation, a nonprofit that will favor members of ArtReach St. Croix.

IkutaSchodde (a last name created when he merged last names with his wife, Juanita) grew up in central Iowa and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, with a degree in English. In the 90s he spent 10 years touring the Midwest and playing guitar and singing, both with an indie rock party and solo, while supplementing his income as a freelance technical writer.

Starbucks Launches Premium Reserve Coffee | Haute Living Magazine

Tomorrow marks the launch of Starbucks new line of ultra-premium exotic coffees, Starbucks Reserve. After a highly successful online launch, the rare coffee beans will now debut in select Starbucks stores. Starbucks Reserve is only readily obtainable in large metropolitan markets and for a limited time, with short supply. The coffees are close by in the cities of New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami.

The first coffee to be released in their luxury line is the Galápagos San Cristóbal. The coffee beans come from one of the oldest geographical locations, the Galápagos Islands. The subtropical location and rich soil make for a medium bodied coffee bean.

“For nearly 40 years, our coffee buyers have traveled the world discovering the most exquisite tastes to show up in a coffee cup,” stated Dub Hay, who operates as the senior vice president of coffee and global procurement.“Only three percent of all the coffee grown around the world is good enough to make it into a bag of Starbucks Coffee. Sometimes we encounter a truly rare and special coffee and we can only purchase a small quantity. Starbucks Reserve represents our heritage as a purveyor of the world’s finest coffees, and we’re thrilled to offer our customers passage on this journey of discovery.”

The coffee will be within reach by the half-pound and in some select locations can be brewed and ordered in the store. Galápagos San Cristóbal is priced at $12.50 for 12 fl.oz.and starts at $2.95 a cup. Future offerings from the Starbucks Reserve line will include Elderly Sulawesi Kalosi, El Salvador Montecarlos Estate Pacamara, Nicaragua Corcasan Fair Trade Certified and Brazil Sul de Minas Peaberry.
