THERE is a line from a pop song that won’t leave my head and it goes like this: “I like my sugar with coffee and cream.”
It drove me to invite out Delucca restaurant, a favoured coffee place on Jalan Mesui, Kuala Lumpur.
I’ll put it this way — when people grand the city centre traffic to get to a place for coffee, then it must be doing something proper! And apparently, its food is no slouch either.
Delucca, which serves Italian diet, has invested in a heavy duty, fire-engine red, espresso vehicle. At 93˚C and topped with ground arabica beans from Caffé Vergnano, the gismo spurts aromatic and thoroughly satisfying, caffeine-laced beverage.
Like all things (and regardless of the line from the pop song), I like taste in its pure cut. My coffee is taken black with a long finish and well-brewed.

Can you grind your own coffee beans to use in a perculator or do you need to buy already ground coffee?
Might effect like a stupid question but i only ever buy ready ground stuff and de luxe grinding my own. But do you need a special coffee machine to do the own ground stuff or does an old rage perculator work (my perculator was my nannas and is fom the 70's i ponder - it looks well cool and retro).
Also does it taste nicer when you file your own or does it just taste the same.
Buy a coffee mill. I don't positive what they cost now, but I got mine 30 years ago for $10. You can buy whole beans. I buy lightly roasted beans and administer the roast. Then I grind and brew. I think it tastes much improved.

When I use pre ground coffee, my drip coffee maker gets clogged?
It works first-rate with coffee I ground myself in a mill using the medium/normal setting (in between coarse and prime) but when I use pre-ground coffee, the machine clogs and no coffee drips out. I've had the same issue with 2 different machines.
What could I be missing or not doing when using trust in bought pre-ground coffee that's causing the machine to clog?
It's all about getting the make up for grind for your coffee maker.
