How do i reset the indicator light on my HAP422B Holmes air purifier?! ?

I have searched the web to no avail. I even downloaded the enchiridion on Holmes website but all it says is that some purifiers with an indicator light are reset by inserting a pin into the reset button. WHERE is the reset button?!?! I have searched by the button, around the button, behind the filters... wealthy a little crazy now!

Units which have an with light (HAP243/HAP422) must be reset
once the HEPA drain has been replaced. Reset indicator by inserting a
small remonstrate over (such as a pin or paperclip) into the hole marked RESET.

There should be a small slum marked Reset around the indicator, see figure 2 at the attached guide.

help with Holmes air purifier, red check light?

i have a Holmes Castle Air Purifier. its the HAP422 series. on the top left hand corner there is a cease with a circle around it. and the light under it is red. any idea why? read the whole owners orient and box, says nothing about the red check. it just turned on today. i don't even use it over. and the filters are cleaned and new. what can it be?

I had the same fashion happen on mine. I'm trying to find an answer, but from what I can tell it's a faulty unveil that's supposed to turn off when you change filters. I guess you only have to ignore it.

By the way, do NOT use the Ionizer. It's supposed to be bad for you.
